Robert Pattinson es mejor conocido por su papel interpretando al vampiro Edward Cullen en Crepúsculo y La Saga Crepúsculo: Luna Nueva. Se dio a conocer en la industria a los 19 años cuando se unió a la franquicia de Harry Potter en el filme de Mike Newell, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire interpretando a Cedric Diggory, el representativo oficial de Hogwarts en el Torneo delos Tres Magos.
Más temprano en ese año, Pattinson protagonizó junto con Pierce Brosnan, Chris Cooper y Emilie De Ravin el drama Remember Me, dirigido por Allen Coulter. Recientemente terminó la producción de Bel Ami, un filme basado en la novela del mismo nombre, escrita por Guy de Maupassant. Pattinson interpreta a un joven periodista en Paris quien se vuelve mejor en su trabajo gracias a las conexiones que tiene con las mujeres más glamorosas e influyentes de la ciudad, interpretadas por Uma Thurman, Kristin Scott Thomas y Christina Ricci.
