Famoso gracias a sus obras multicolores como las famosas series de fotografías en serigrafía de Marilyn Monroe y a sus pinturas con el tema de sopas Campbells' que se venden en el mundo entero.

1945 Andy Warhol estudió en el Carnegie Institute of Technology en Pittsburgh,en donde descubrió la publicidad

1949 Antes de poder vender sus primeras obras, Warhol trabajó como publicista en Nueva York.

1955 Trabajó para diversas revistas y periódicos tales como Glamour Magazine,Dance Magazine y el New York Times.

1962 Andy Warhol presentó su primera exhibición en la Galería Ferus de Los Angeles, en la que presentó principalmente sus obras con el tema de la sopa Campbell.

1964 Filma Batman Dracula, la cinta sólo puede exhibirse en centros culturales ya que no cuenta con los permisos de DC Comics.

1966 Dirigió la película The Chelsea Girls, una obra voyeurista sobre lo que ocurre en el interior de las habitaciones de hotel.

1971 Premiere de su película Trash

1973 Andy Warhol dirigió la película Vivian's Girls. Ese mismo año presentó su revista Interview.

1974 Andy colaboró con el cineasta Paul Morrisey para la realización de las películas Frankestein y Dracula.

1987 Andy Warhol falleció después de practicársele una operación. Sólo tenía 59 años de edad.

1990 Se llevó a cabo una retrospectiva de los trabajos de Andy Warhol en el Centre Pompidou de París, a la cual acudieron más de 300 000 visitantes de todo el mundo.

1994 Inauguración del Museo Andy Warhol Museum en Pittsburgh.
